Er, I'm not quite with you here. How could single people block you when you (as a family) had priority boarding?

Simple... they loiter at the front of the queue in the departure lounge so that you have to fight your way past them. Not easy when you have kids in tow. It's happened almost every time.

Maybe a lot of families would relish having their kids sit in another part of the plane.
