I've only seen about ten minutes of Big Brother, but I'd assumed all along that George Galloway knew what he was doing when he took up the invitation to join in. David T's pix suggest otherwise. I guess there's still a faint possibility that GG has a better grasp of the TV audience than the rest of us. Perhaps bluster and a smile are really all you need. He still looked cocky in the very brief, post-eviction clip I saw on Newsnight. Christopher Hitchens, in contrast, had all the facts at his fingertips, but looked tired and ill. A sort of Nixon-Kennedy moment.
Yeah, Hitch not looking too well. I guess being a drink-soaked popinjay can take it out of a guy!

Well, at least he timed his departure to coincide with the Telegraph losing its libel appeal.
