I just knew Tim Worstall would go after comedian-cum-commentator Robert Newman this morning:
To think, they harvested electrons and killed trees to spread this nonsense.
Newman (formerly David Baddiel's other half, creatively speaking) is a very nice guy - and he's much wittier than Michael Moore. But he's also living proof of how much damage a few Chomsky tomes can cause. The sad thing is that his live gigs are usually packed. It's a bit like going to a seminar run by a cult. The audience hangs on his every word.
"His brand of comedy is certainly not for those without a good grasp of world history and politics," says a reviewer. As a matter of fact, those are exactly the people the shows cater to.
