Coulter won't live forever and she is almost beyond child bearing age so if she hasn't given birth or is not going the way of Ted Williams that gene pool will be dried up and her classless hatefulness will end. God, what a sexless woman.

goethean

In a functioning society, Coulter would be unemployed.

Gus

Coulter is the face of today's Republican party. What a contrast with the late President Ford.

Populus vult decipi, decipiatur.
("The people wish to be deceived, let them be deceived.")

Except for her dismissive comments about the seriousness of Watergate, I didn't find anything inaccurate in her article.

Her point is that Democrats want America to be humiliated in all foreign engagements. Except for Bosnia, name one success story that had a Democrat fingerprint on it since WWII?

The Democrats will not be satisfied until we are as weak as Canada or Europe.

Jeremy

Ann Coulter had something to say?

I was wondering why I was suddenly drowsy.

Her words have become like my dog's daily dump in the park: predictable, grotesque up close, and entirely useless in informing policy.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Uh huh. And what would be the point of the 50%+ of voting Americans who voted Democrat be in identifying with a party that wants global humiliation for its nation? You going to hang 150 million Americans for treason?

This kind of stuff doesn't even hold up to basic logic anymore.

Deep end, Dennis. Dennis, deep end.

If the eeevil Democrats really wanted America to be weak, they should have conspired to leave the government under complete control of the Republicans. The Republicans are doing a very effective job of making America weak.

Strok

Dennis: "Except for Bosnia, name one success story that had a Democrat fingerprint on it since WWII?"

How about the Camp David Accords which brought lasting peace between Egypt and Israel under Carter?

Or the Northern Ireland peace process under Clinton?

Gold Star for Robot Boy

Or the Dayton Agreement, brokered by Clinton, which ended the 3-1/2-year war in Bosnia?

howard

no, no, no, not success stories of peace, a success story of war!

Adrock

Her point is that Democrats want America to be humiliated in all foreign engagements.

Yes, and she did a fantastic job of proving that too!

More troops, fewer troops, different troops, "redeployment" -- all the Democrats' peculiar little talking points are just a way of sounding busy.

Someone should tell John McCain he's siding with the enemy.

just as they call Islamic fascists killing Americans in Iraq "insurgents."

Really? President Bush, could you chime in?

I didn't even get past the first few paragraphs to see that article for being the peace of monkey shit it is.

booch221

Bush and Cheney have led us to defeat in Iraq. That's what happens when you elect draft dodgers to the highest offices in the land.

Perhaps if they had served, they might not be so quick to risk other peoples lives for nothing but their own selfish political purposes.

Adrock

Wow, I just got done reading Coulters article. I didn't think it was possible for someone to draw the complete wrong conclusions out of, well, pretty much everything. Her lessons learned from Vietnam are appalling and her attempts at comparing it to Iraq fail in all the wrong places. Jesus Christ, the Dems invented Watergate now.

What a turd.

kabulykos

Hmm... I think if you polled around South Korea, most there would think Truman's war didn't go all that poorly. But yeah, Vietnam did suck -- oh wait, sorry, we only lost that because we lost our will against the forces of Evil and pulled out... under Ford.

sigh.

sean hannity

"The Democrats invented Watergate..." No, Dear, that was Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford. The Democrats conspired to indict Haldeman, Ehrlichman,Mitchell, Dean, Colson, Segretti, Magruder, Liddy, and several other award-winning public servants. Can't wait for your next book.

mikek

I still haven't met anyone who reads her books or columns in the real world. Useless political commentary always has an opposite yet equal waste of time. For every Coulture there is a Ted Rall, one stupid comment at daily kos + one stupid comment at LGF and the B.S. goes on forever. Booch221 says:

"Bush and Cheney have led us to defeat in Iraq. That's what happens when you elect draft dodgers to the highest offices in the land."

hooch323 at Republicans are awsome says:

"Clinton dodeged the draft. If he hadn't dodged the draft...blah, blah,bla..."

GSD

Coulter is slowly circling the drain of life like so many kernals of corn in a toilet bowl.

The once brave defender of the Republican faithful will be tossed aside like a used tissue now that her schtick is tired and there are newer and younger media assassins available for the right winger death mongers to rub one out over.

What redblooded right winger wants to be seen cavorting with a 50 year old, unmarried and childless lawyer?

Ann, let Mr. Demille know when you are ready for your close-up.

-GSD

mikek

GSD proves my point. There is a GSD on a republican blog spitting the same nonsense on the inter-tubes as I type. It's a total waste:(

Strok writes: "How about the Camp David Accords which brought lasting peace between Egypt and Israel under Carter?

Bringing them to the table just 'rewarded' the Egyptians and the IRA, silly. The Republicans would rather see the conflicts continue.

gail

Coulter is not a serious person and her "schtick" has been a crashing bore for years. I don't know why anyone pays attention to her. Presenting Coulter as a representative of Republicans is similarly boring and Coulteresque.

Randy

It's easy to become disenchanted with current politics. What! Watching pork barreling and 'bridges-to-nowhere" makes me scream. But let's face it... we get the government we deserve. I'm no demo, but what could be worse than a pack of previous big spenders who turned the GOP into a mockery of responsible government. It's not just about Bush's lack of veto discipline (should have been used more), it about our electees feeling free to fling cash in all directions without regard to the common good. There may have been some local good done with all the spending over the past 6 years, but it was not for the broadest good for the most number of people. I don get the thinking... is it really, "I've got mine, to hell with you...?" Sure feels like it to me, and I fault the whole gang in Washington. Next time around, let's move the whole gang out!

Jim O'Sullivan

Coulter gets her thoughts spread widely by people like you who react emotionally to the outrageous bits. When are people like you going to figure that out?

Chuck

How long until Coulter is so desperate for attention that she does a spread in Playboy?

Phil

Why does America seem to base itself upon " Foreign Engagements"?Is that the only way you can think?By having military on permanent standby to invade or attack somewhere? SO that you show to the world how "strong" you are?
I might also add that the greatest presidents in the 20th century were Democrats.(Roosevlet,Kennedy and Clinton) Lets not undermine Clintons acheivments in office either. It was their "liberal" thinking that made America a beacon. Not the paranoid menacing place it is now
